＜LAVENHAM（ラベンハム）＞
1969年、ロンドン北東部SUFFOLK（サフォーク）州の小さな美しい村LAVENHAM（ラベンハム）で設立されました、社名はその村の名に因んでつけられました。創設者Mrs.Elliotはエリザベス女王に仕える女官でしたが、ある時キルティング加工をした生地を使い女王の乗られるホース・ブランケットを作る事を思い付きました。保温性が悪く濡れ易いジュート麻からMrs.Elliotが発案したナイロン・キルティングのホース・ブランケットは英国中に広まり、乗馬用具業界での地位を確立しました。その後、乗馬愛好家の要望でナイロン・キルティング・ジャケットが発表され、乗馬用トレーニング・ウェアの中に高いファッション性と高品質という概念を取り入れた先駆けでもあります。
